AI Video Localization Service

Translate a client's existing video into another language, with a dubbed voice and captions, and a note that it is a translation.

Tool costs
$0 - $70/mo
Ongoing time
8-15 hours per week for translation checks, edits and delivery.
Difficulty
Medium

How it works, step by step

  1. Agree the script (Claude): Transcribe the video and mark names, numbers and jokes that need a human decision.
  2. Dub the first language (Rask AI): Generate the dubbed cut and captions. Do not change lines the client has not approved.
  3. Check the captions (Captions): Read every caption against the approved script and fix timing that covers a face or a button.
  4. Export the master (CapCut): Export the dubbed video and a separate caption file the client can upload.
  5. Note the disclosure (Notion): Tell the client where a platform asks them to label altered or translated speech, and keep the approval email.

What this can become

A 6-minute product demo dubbed into Spanish with captions, reviewed against the script, for $240.

Who it suits

People who will listen to the dub against the original and fix lines that change the meaning.

How to test it

Translate a one-minute clip you have the rights to, on a free trial, and ask three creators if they would pay for a full video.
