3D Model Shop

Sell 3D files that a game, a product render or a printer can actually use. A generator can start the shape. You check it, name it honestly, and list it.

Tool costs
$0 - $20/mo
Ongoing time
6-12 hours per week for modelling, checking and listings.
Difficulty
Medium

How it works, step by step

  1. Choose one object (ChatGPT): Pick an object a buyer can name, and the format they need. One object, not a pack of random shapes.
  2. Generate a starting mesh (Meshy): Make a first shape. On a free plan, check whether you must credit the tool before you sell.
  3. Make the preview honest (Canva): Render the model from the file you will sell, not from a prettier picture that hides errors.
  4. List it with the share in mind (CGTrader): Set a price you can explain. New sellers keep 55%. Say if a tool started the mesh.
  5. Note who could open it (Notion): Write down the format, the errors you fixed, and whether a buyer's software opened it.

What this can become

A small set of workshop tools as game-ready models, each checked in a viewer, listed from $8.

Who it suits

People who will open the file, look for broken parts, and test a print or an import before they sell it.

How to test it

Generate one simple object, fix what is broken, export a format the buyer asked for, and list that single file.
